The Digital Fashion-Clothing course given by Vestechpro since January 2022 recently ended with project presentations by participants in front of a jury made up of industry professionals.
The final project aimed at putting the knowledge acquired during the pilot course into practice. It consisted of designing a digital attire using CLO software and developing an associated digital marketing strategy.
A wide variety of projects that included: children's clothing, women's ready-to-wear, and sportswear.
The jury highlighted the creative and quality work provided by the participants. Members particularly appreciated the materials representation work that was facilitated thanks to software (realistic rendering), and the originality of the clothing proposal presentation.
The jury was made up of fashion design and fashion marketing teachers from the École de mode du Cégep Marie-Victorin, a member of the Vestechpro Administration Committee representing the industry, and Vestechpro’s Technical Director.
We would like to thank the City of Montreal, whose support made it possible to welcome and train a dozen industry professionals.
Training similar to the Digital Fashion-Clothing pilot course will be given in the fall of 2022, and upcoming dates will be available very soon.
