Did you know that 10% of the Canadian population suffers from urinary incontinence?
Neila Mezghani, Professor at Université TELUQ, has conducted a multidisciplinary research project to find an answer to this health problem.
Through an innovative project of smart underwear for urinary incontinence, she was able to collaborate with the Vestechpro team.
Vestechpro made prototypes and compared different solutions for the detection of urinary leakage.
This comparison led to the release of a scientific publication presented last September at the 8th edition of the International Conference on Intelligent Textiles and Mass Customization (ITMC). The publication was written by Audrey Coulombe, Project Manager – Technology at Vestechpro.

This project was made possible thanks to the AUDACE program of the Fonds de Recherche du Québec.
A great example of collaboration between a CCTT and a university!
