This initiative by Vestechpro allowed entrepreneurs to better understand the repercussions of the changes envisaged on all their operations (design, research and development, company positioning, assortment and price range, marketing ...) as well as to prioritize actions to be undertaken in the short and medium term. Certainly, adoption of 4.0 will need to be gradual and with the support of all stakeholders in the fashion-apparel ecosystem, including various levels of governance and educational institutions. A first step in the right direction would be to establish a reliable diagnosis of the technological profile of the company to eventually be able to adequately train the workforce.
With the presentation of its program Strategies Mode 4.0 and sustainable development, Vestechpro affirms its position as the leading partner of companies in the clothing industry. The Center hopes to consolidate strategic alliances in order to position Quebec's apparel industry as a vehicle for innovation and competitiveness.
