Vestechpro’s new Board of Directors announced

 

During the 7th Vestechpro General Meeting held on October 19 at Loews Hotel Vogue in Montreal, the Chair of the Board, Ms. Hélène Allaire, announced the name of those who will sit on the Board during the 2016-2017 fiscal year. The centre’s Board of Directors has 10 members, including one non-voting member.

 

Mr. Sylvain Mandeville, Director General of Cegep Marie-Victorin, was appointed Chair of the Board. He will replace Ms. Allaire who has been Chair since the Centre was created in 2011.

 

Vestechpro wishes to acknowledge the exceptional contribution of the outgoing Chair to the organization, Ms. Allaire, who is also Academic Dean of Cegep Marie-Victorin. A leading influence in the organization, Ms. Allaire has tirelessly promoted Vestechpro, both in the apparel industry and with the cegep’s École de mode. Ms. Paulette Kaci, General Director of Vestechpro, joined other members of the Board in thanking Ms. Allaire warmly for her unfailing support of the centre for research and innovation.

 

Mr. Daniel Beaudet, designer and founder of Leinad Beaudet, a Quebec brand of women’s clothing, joined the Board as a member.

 

Recently-appointed members enthusiastically accepted their new responsibilities within the organization. Vestechpro would like to extend its warmest thanks to them.
