With the establishment of a non-medical face covering production module last summer, Vestechpro responded to urgent requests from its various partners such as the CIUSSS-NÎM, the Société de la Place des arts de Montréal and several cégeps including Cégep Marie-Victorin.
Unfortunately, we are not all equal when it comes to accessing safe personal protective equipment and therefore, this community project also aimed at meeting the needs of greater risk communities. Vestechpro was keen to provide the benefit of 1,000 face coverings made with care and according to the standards of the Association française de normalisation (AFNOR), to several organizations in Montreal North.
Included among them: Centre Communautaire Multi-Ethnique de Montréal-Nord, le Centre des femmes Interculturel Claire, Maison SamX and Les Fourchettes de l’espoir, a charity that offers quality food safety services and the adoption of healthy lifestyles. We would particularly like to thank this organization for welcoming us to its premises and allowing us to participate in the distribution of face coverings with the assistance of its dynamic manager, madame Brunilda Reyes.
Are you a business and want to provide your employees with safe face coverings? Are you a charity and want to provide safe face coverings to your community? Contact us!
