Vestechpro applauds the federal budget update and the strategic investments supporting college research

 

This renewal of funding comes with a five-year budget of $165 million, confirming the strategic value of applied research and ICC-funded programs dedicated to maximizing the impact of research projects originating from colleges, CEGEPs, and CCTTs. This funding aligns with the Carney government’s national priorities, ensuring that applied research and innovation contribute to the sovereignty and resilience of the economy and society.

 

Vestechpro currently receives several grants from the program, including one it receives as a Technology Access Center (TAC). Vestechpro is the only TAC dedicated to fashion and apparel in Canada.
