Vestechpro collaborates to strengthen Tunisian-Canadian ties in the technical textile and clothing sector
A look back at the Tunisian-Canadian networking meeting in the technical textile and apparel sector, held on April 3 and 4, 2025, in Montreal and Granby.
This meeting was co-organized by Vestechpro, TechniTextile Québec, and the Canadian Textile Industry Association, in collaboration with the Embassy of Tunisia in Canada.
Two days marked by several highlights:
- More than 60 B2B meetings aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration between local and Tunisian companies. Fascinating panels: Paulette Kaci, our Executive Director, shared her vision of partnership opportunities between Tunisia and Canada in the technical textile and clothing sector during one of the panels.
- The signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the Monastir-El Fejja Competitiveness Cluster (MFC Pôle), Vestechpro, and TechniTextile Québec, demonstrating a shared desire to strengthen innovation and foster cooperation between Canada and Tunisia.
- A tour of Cégep Marie-Victorin and Vestechpro's infrastructure, as well as a networking reception.
- Visits to local companies: Belt-Tech, Stedfast, Cirque du Soleil workshops, and Vestechpro laboratories.
