Vestechpro has donated 2,000 of its reusable face masks to a support program in Uganda

Vestechpro has donated 2,000 of its reusable face masks to a support program in Uganda, in collaboration with McMaster University, a long-time Vestechpro facemask collaborator. This support program aims to provide personal protective equipment to healthcare workers and patients at Mulago Hospital in Kampala and various medical centers as well as to students at Makerere University.

In total, nearly $750,000 worth of equipment was shipped. Vestechpro's collaboration with McMaster University also included bimonthly meetings as part of the Cloth Mask Knowledge Exchange working group. These meetings enabled discussion on the best protocols for making, maintaining, and using face masks.

Vesteschpro is proud to have lent its expertise to this collective solidarity project and to have been able to contribute to the exchange and sharing of knowledge in the community.
