Vestechpro Joins the Experts of the Ecoleader Fund

We are pleased to announce that the Apparel Research and Innovation Center has just joined the experts in eco-responsible business practices listed in the Fonds Écoleader directory.

The Ecoleader Fund aims to guide and support Quebec companies in the integration of a wide range of eco-responsible business practices and clean technologies.

The Fund offers financial assistance in the form of grants to companies wishing to collaborate with experts who will support them in implementing eco-responsible business practices, or in preparing for the acquisition of clean technologies.

This news is fully in line with the services offered by Vestechpro to industry players to support them in their eco-responsible practices. To name just a few services: responsible sourcing consulting; research and monitoring of innovative and sustainable materials; design of zero waste patterns; recovery of fabric scraps; circular business models; recycling; and digital shift.

It’s also an opportunity to highlight the work that has been carried out by the Center for several years to develop the circular economy research niche, whether it takes the form of events, training, or projects such as the one implemented with Renaissance, the socio-professional integration organization, as part of the project for the reduction, reuse and recycling of post-consumer clothing selected by the City of Montreal during the call for “Acting for Ecological Transition” projects.

As an expert listed in the Fund's directory, the services of our Center could be funded as part of a project submitted to the Ecoleader Fund financing program.
