On November 25, 2025, Vestechpro took part in the Circular Economy Meeting – Textile Sector organized by Granby Industriel at the Granby Industrial and Digital Hub. This morning of conferences, aimed at industries using textiles, clothing stores, and reuse organizations, sought to highlight the many opportunities related to circularity and improve the management of unsold items, fabric scraps, and end-of-life textiles.
Although textiles are omnipresent in our daily lives, the avenues for their end-of-life treatment remain limited in Quebec. It was in this context that participants were able to discover innovative approaches and concrete tools to evolve their practices.
Vestechpro's contribution
Vestechpro was represented by Paulette Kaci, its Executive Director, and Leyla Lardja, Research and Innovation Manager. They presented the Centre's activities, services, and projects aimed at supporting companies in the fashion and apparel sector in their transition to a circular economy.
Participants left with new perspectives and concrete courses of action to improve textile management in their organizations.
