Program
- Introduction to the circular eaconomy,
- Actions for value generation: circular design applied to fashion & apparel, responsible and circular sourcing,
- Actions for value conservation: study of actual use, maintenance, repair, performance and functionality approaches,
- Actions for end-of-life valorization: reverse logistics, waste management, recycling and value chain workshop,
- Measuring environmental impacts and circularity,
- Operationalization & environmental communication.
Skills developed
At the end of the course, participants will be able to :
- Understand the processes and constraints involved in implementing effective management practices for circularity strategies within the fashion-apparel value chain,
- Gain a better understanding of how to evaluate, prioritize and plan sustainable strategies adapted to their company profile,
- Establish (and update) a prioritized circularity roadmap based on their reality.
How does the program work?
Format:
- Six training sessions (three hours each, one morning per week, over six weeks)
- Two individual coaching sessions (per company)
- A set number of dedicated hours for personalized support and guidance
A formula focused on action-based training
This activity is an action-based training program (presentations, practical workshops, and coaching) with experts who will help each company create its own circular economy roadmap.
Speakers/trainers
The training sessions will be led by several experts from Vestechpro, as well as Synergie Montréal and PME Mtl-Est-de-l'Île.

Target profiles
This program is reserved for companies in the fashion and apparel sector.
- Product development, procurement, operations, CSR/sustainable development managers, designers, fashion designers.
- Participation in pairs is possible: two participants per company (e.g., procurement and design).
Price
$1,200 per company, plus tax (up to two participants per company) - A savings of 85% on a real value of $8,500, made possible thanks to the support of Canada Economic Development.
Includes:
• 18 hours of training
• Up to 50 hours of personalized support
• 1-year membership to the Synergie Montréal network
Salary reimbursement
CSMO Textile offers participants a reimbursement of their wages for the 18 hours spent in training.
Conditions:
- Maximum hourly rate: $40 per hour
- Funding: 50%
- Number of subsidized hours: 18 hours of training.
- Eligibility for the subsidy: register as a CSMO member with a 25% discount applied at the time of billing.
Practical details:
- Places limited to 10 companies (1-2 participants per company)
- Location: Online – Only the training session on February 5, 2026 will take place in person in Montreal.
- Language: Training in French.

Training: 18 hours of training divided into six sessions.
Individual coaching sessions by appointment. - Certificate: A Vestechpro training certificate (non-credited) for 18 hours of training.
